پیر کو بین الاقوامی علما کانفرنس برائے انسداد پولیو مہم کے اختتامی سیشن میں پاکستان، اسلامی دنیا کی مختلف تنظیموں، اسلامک ڈیولپمنٹ بینک، او آئی سی، الازہر یونیورسٹی، بین الاقوامی فقہ اکیڈمی، بین الاقوامی اسلامی یونیورسٹی اسلام آباد اور اسلامک ایڈوائزری گروپ کے نمائندوں نے شرکت کی،کانفرنس کے اختتام پر ’’فتویٰ اسلام آباد‘‘جاری کیاگیاجس میں پولیو ویکسین کے استعمال کو جائز قرار دیاگیا۔ کانفرنس کے شرکا نے کہاکہ57اسلامی ممالک میں سے54ممالک پولیوکے مرض پر قابو پاچکے ہیں ۔

پاکستان میں بھی پولیو جیسے موذی مرض پر قابو پانے کیلیے بچوں کو پولیو قطرے پلانا ضروری ہے۔کانفرنس کے شرکا نے انسداد پولیو مہم میں حصہ لینے والے اہلکاروں پر ہونیوالے حملوں اورمہم کوسیاسی مقاصدکیلئے استعمال کرنیکی بھی مذمت کی،علما کانفرنس کے اختتامی سیشن سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے وزیرمملکت برائے مذہبی امور پیر امیر الحسنات نے کہا ہے کہ علمائے کرام ہمارے معاشرے کا معتبر طبقہ ہیں، اس لیے ان سے توقع ہے کہ وہ انسداد پولیو کے حوالے سے اپنا کردار ادا کریں گے۔
